What is 3D Eyebrow Microblading?

It is a semi-permanent makeup method of naturally feathering hair-like strokes directly on the skin's surface to create the most natural, realistic looking eyebrows. Microblading fills in sparse or thin brows to achieve a fuller, defined, well groomed effect. This is a perfect method for those with alopecia, cancer patients or men and women who want fuller brows.

What is an Ombre' Shading?

A semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo method. Instead of having hair strokes like, ombre' shading is a different approach by naturally fill in all the area of the tail with a darker color and gradually fade to a softer, lighter shade towards the front of the brows. This creates a sharp yet naturally look.

What is Combo Brows?

A combination of shading from the tail of the brow using a hand held tool or semi-permanent tattoo machine and gradually blending in 3D microblading with hair strokes like towards the front of the brow. This look gives a realistic result with a sharp yet naturally appearance.

Does it hurt?

We get mixed reviews on pain. Everyone has a different threshold for pain but topical anesthetics are applied before and during the treatment to alleviate any discomfort. A scratching sound/sensation will be heard throughout. Music is often being played during the procedure, however, feel free to bring your own earphones and music.

Is it safe?

Absolutely! Disposable blades and handles will be used for each client.

Will I be swollen?

Swelling is very minimal and rare but possible if you have sensitive skin. Slightly red skin around the brows is completely normal and will subside within 1 hour.

Will I need a touch up?

Most likely. The color will fade significantly for the next four weeks after your first session, and this is extremely normal. This stage allows you to reflect on the color/shape and what you might want to change at the touch up appointment (second session).

How ofter will I need a touch up?

Yearly touch up is recommended to keep your brows looking fresh.

How long will it last?

From 8 months to 2 years depends on skin type, lifestyle and after care.

How long does it take?

Typically 2 hours, more or less. Allow 3 hour window for your appointment since this is not something you want to be rushed on.

Do I need to take a day off work?

No. There's no downtime for the enhancement. Redness and swelling will subside within 1 hour. Your brows will initially appear darker, but not so dark to prevent you from work. Do avoid work that requires sweating or being out in the sun/water.

How long does it take to heal?

Healing time varies from one person to another. It typically takes about a week to 10 days for the epithelial crust to form and slough off. Please avoid tanning on the face as this will decrease color retention. Your skin will be considered completely healed after 4 weeks.

What is the microblading process?

Your photo of "before" will be taken. Brows shapes are measured and drawn. Your approval will be needed before the numbing process begins. Please keep in mind that our faces aren't symmetrical, hence this is why eyebrows are sister and not twins. With that being said, careful measurements will take place to ensure they are as even as can be. Color will be chosen based on your natural brow color. Once the anesthetic has enough time to start working (15-20 minutes) the microblading procedure will begin. After photo will be taken and will be used for promotion/ portfolio under your permission.

Pigment lost is normal, and this is why second session is recommended.

What can't I do after the procedure?

You're advised to keep the area dry, meaning no swimming, sweating, or saunas. No tanning or prolonged sun exposure, no picking, peeling, scratching or rubbing the area since this may result in loss of color and scarring or even infection. Always wash your hands before applying the A&D cream, preferably with a Qtip. For those with oily skin, "dry heal" meaning no A&D cream needs to be applied. Quick showers are permitted, washing hair and face is fine as long as you don't scrub or rub the brows. To wash your face, use a natural soap all over including the brows, then splash the water to rinse of and gently pat it dry.

How do I prolong the life of my brow after the procedure?

Your brows will last longer if sun blocked is applied and avoid abrasive facial treatments in the area.

Can I get microblading on top of existing eyebrow tattoo?

Yes, as long as the old tattoo is faded enough. If old tattoo is still very dark, you'll benefit more from a combination of  microblading and microshading to achieve a desirable shape.

Will I have to shave off my entire brows?

No. The purpose of microblading is to enhance the brows in the most natural way without shaving it all off. In cases where the brows are very droopy and need a major lift at the tail, then yes, some of it will get shaped up for that to place. In general, some hairs will be removed to enhance the brows esthetically.

Is it possible to not have any color retention at all?

Yes, this is possible!

A third appointment usually takes place to exam the brows healing result to determine if any area needs extra attention. Most people only requires 2 sessions, but some will need a third since their skin doesn't retain the color well. How your skin heals and individual's body reaction to the pigment has a lot to do with how well the color stays, not to mention the after care is also very crucial for this part. One's body might completely rejects the pigment as a foreign substance and produces excessive scabs to push the color out of the body.

Can your work be guaranteed?

Unfortunately I can't since everyone heals and reacts differently. For instance: age, skin type, scarring, diet, stress levels, lifestyle, beauty/facial products, overall health, etc, can all effect the result. This is why second session is highly recommended to help the color retention. What I can guarantee is I will treat your face as I treat my own by using experience and expertise to offer my absolute best. Please do think long and hard before you decide.

What if I don't like it?

Although microblading, ombre' shading and microshading is considered semi-permanent, these procedures do allow flexibility for color/shape change to some extent. I will work closely with you to ensure the shaping and color choosing compliments your unique features. Speaking your thoughts are highly encouraged to help minimize room for error as little as possible. If you end up not liking the end result, the touch up schedule will be cancelled and the treated area will naturally fade over time. If you are unsure about the procedure, please opt for a more temporary option.
